Our full and varied studio fitness timetable has classes to suit all ages and abilities, from holistic & relaxing classes such as Yoga & Tai Chi through to high energy, heart-pumping classes such as Aerolatino, Zumba, Spinning, RPM & Body Pump.
Our classes are taught by some of the fitness industry’s most qualified instructors so you can be assured of a safe & effective workout.
We all have very different body shapes and genetic predispositions. That is why an exercise programme that works for one person may not necessarily work for another.
A Personal Trainer will help you develop a structured exercise regime that is specific to your individual needs and postural requirements, whilst staying firmly focused on your goals and objectives.
This service is also ideal for those requiring additional support & motivation in the gym. Many people find it hard to motivate themselves, feel uncomfortable or unsure in the gym on their own. Personal Training helps you improve your knowledge of exercise, improve motivation and give you the confidence to get in the gym and earn your results. And because we regularly asses and train our personal trainers, you have the reassurance of knowing you will be working with the very best to achieve your goals.

SWIM, STEAM & SAUNA
The River Club has the only non-chlorine pool in the UK that has a retractable roof. The water is soft and crystal clear meaning the pool is perfect for all; from serious training and aqua classes to leisurely swimming or cooling down from an energetic class.
There is a large outdoor decking area adjacent to the pool, where you can relax on sunny days. We have in-house swimming coaches, for beginners and those looking to improve their stroke.
On pool-side, we also have Steam and Sauna rooms in which to relax and unwind.
FAMILY SWIM TIMES
Members' children are welcome in the pool with adult supervision during the following times:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 2pm - 4.45pm
Weekends & bank holidays: 2pm - 3.45pm
Traditional training values combined with the great outdoors give our bootcamp participants the weight loss they deserve.
Independently run by Personal Trainers, our Bootcamp is a 4-week weight loss programme incorporating team challenges, an intensive exercise regime, nutritional advice and a team of support for you to accelerate your weight loss.
We pride ourselves on results. Doing the right things ensures these results. We have structured the bootcamp to give you the best possible chance of losing weight and more importantly reducing body fat. You get 16 supervised structured exercise sessions in 4 weeks but with very little change to your lifestyle.
We offer you the nutritional support to make sure you don't, knowingly or not, sabotage you weight loss efforts, instead maximising your energy for the exercise sessions. Most importantly we provide a fun, friendly team orientated environment to keep you going if things are feeling tough.
The River Club has five outdoor tennis courts, two of which are floodlit, so if you’re looking for an environment in which to start or improve your existing game then The River Club is the perfect choice.
Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced golfer, the club has four par-3 holes (three of which are over water) and a nine hole putting green, all set in the club’s 12 acres of countryside.
