Are you ready to take the next step in your fitness career? This is a fantastic opportunity to join The River Club as a Fitness Instructor and Duty Manager. You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding fitness experiences to our members, helping them reach their goals in a motivating and friendly environment. This role combines fitness instruction with club management responsibilities, offering a well-rounded and rewarding challenge. You will be responsible for delivering member inductions, creating tailored fitness programs, organizing gym floor events, and undertaking Duty Manager shifts.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding fitness experiences to our members, helping them reach their goals in a motivating and friendly environment. This role combines fitness instruction with club management responsibilities, offering a well-rounded and rewarding challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver member inductions and create tailored fitness programmes
- Organise gym floor events and social activities
- Support front-of-house operations including sales and reception duties
- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Undertake Duty Manager shifts, including opening and closing the club
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team atmosphere
About You:
We’re looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor or Duty manager with a Level 2 Fitness qualification (or equivalent). This role is ideal for someone eager to take on greater responsibility and gain hands-on experience across all areas of club operations.
